Truth in Jesus

"Teach me that Christ cannot be the Way if I am the end, that He cannot be Redeemer if I am my own saviour, that there can be no true unition with Him while the creature has my heart, that faith accepts Him as Redeemer and Lord or not at all."

The King of Glory

Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Psalm 24:7-10

Thank you Father for our "King of Glory"!

Fellowship

Philippians 1:27 "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ; that whether I come and see your, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together fro the faith of the gospel;"

"Fellowship, one of the keys to spiritual growth, occurs when Christians share their walk with God in an atmosphere of love and respect.  Fellowship occurs when everyone communicates in love with other believers, and the whole assembly becomes strengthened as a result.  The church at Philippi was particularly noted for its spirit of fellowship.  Fellowship is so vital that we cannot live for God by ourselves.  As we develop deeper relationships with others, we should remember that we come to resemble those with whom we fellowship."

Food for Thought:  If the church of today truly practiced "fellowship", maybe it would turn this evil world "upside down" as the early church in the Book of Acts and return to being the "light of the world".
